Recipe: How To Make Granola Without Oven

Stove-top Granola Recipe

Jojoshomemade
A simple and quick granola recipe that's made with almonds and dried cranberries. What's more, it's made on the stovetop, so there's no oven hassle. You're welcome to add your favourite dried fruits and nuts.

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup coconut

Instructions
 

Directions

  • Heat the oil in a large pan, using medium-high heat. Add the oats, then cook and stir until it starts to brown and crisp, for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and spread out on a cooling sheet to cool.
  • Melt the butter in the same pan over medium heat. Stir in the honey. Cook, stirring constantly, until bubbly. Return the oats to the pan. Cook and stir for another 5 minutes or so. Pour out onto the cookie sheet and spread to cool.
  • Once cool, transfer to an airtight container and stir in the almonds and coconut. Any additional nuts and fruits can be stirred in at this time as well.
